In the mid-1990s, Dimitri Hatzepetros began creating men’s clothing in his Outremont atelier under the Ike & Dean label. The simple lines of his designs were enhanced with materials and details that gave them a contemporary style. From 1998 to 2000, he received three grants from the Matinée Fashion Foundation. At the turn of the century, Ike & Dean was a partner of the company Montréal Mode, which exported the label outside the country, notably to the United States. In 2004, Hatzepetros designed menswear for Le Château. He later became an interior designer.
