The Stowe

The Stowe is a company that produces leather goods in Italian vegetable tanned leather. The brand offers purses and wallets with refined, minimalist lines at affordable luxury prices. Each design is grounded in functionality. When the company was founded in 2013, all the purses were handmade in Montreal’s Mile-Ex neighbourhood. To meet the increased demand, production was relocated to a small factory in southern Spain. As of 2018, The Stowe products are available in 34 stores in Canada, the United States and Europe.

The Stowe was founded by Molly Spittal, a Calgary native who studied fashion design at Vancouver’s Blanche Macdonald Centre. Her spouse Matt Atkinsall joined the business as account manager in 2015.
