Chaussures DeLuca

Manufacturer

Since 1968

Chaussures DeLuca is the manufacturer of the Anfibio line of waterproof leather boots. Founded in Montreal in 1968 by Joseph DeLuca, a shoemaker of Italian origin, the company originally specialized in moccasins and shoes before focussing exclusively on winter boots in the late 1980s.

In 1991, Vincenzo Passarelli (1939–2016), a long-time employee, purchased a majority of the company’s shares. His daughters Pina and Claudia and their husbands have been running Chaussures DeLuca since then. In addition to its flagship brand Anfibio, the company produces Beluga and Contoura boots. All products are handcrafted in the company’s St. Michel Street factory in Montreal, which has a staff of 45.
