Boulet Inc.

BrandManufacturer

Since 1933

The history of the Boulet boot company began in 1933 in the Mauricie region, under the name The St-Tite Shoe Co. Ltd. Founded by Georges Alidor Boulet (1892–1961), the factory originally employed 30 workers to produce men’s dress shoes.

In 1964, Boulet began manufacturing western style boots when the owner’s sons, Robert, Roger and Reynald, began working at the company.

These three also organized the first rodeos in Saint-Tite, the forerunners of the legendary western festival that now attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Boulet Inc. remains a family-owned business; the fourth generation began working there in 2013.

As of 2018, the original Saint-Tite factory is still in operation, employing around 200 people and producing 200,000 pairs of western style boots every year. In addition to models aimed at horse riding enthusiasts, Boulet Inc. designs boots inspired by international trends, made of high-end exotic leathers.
