Unicorn

Unicorn is a Montreal women’s clothing and accessories store known for its wide selection of independent Quebec and Canadian brands. Approximately 80% of the merchandise is produced locally, while the rest is made up of international brands that reflect the spirit of the store.

Unicorn sells classic styles enhanced with original details.

Neutral shades like white, black, beige and grey predominate and special attention is paid to the cut. The prices are mid-range, falling between affordable and high-end.

Amélie Thellen and Mélanie Robillard are the two entrepreneurs behind Unicorn. The former has a bachelor’s degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) École supérieure de mode, while the latter studied advanced haute couture at the Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy in Ottawa. In 2008, the two friends opened their store on St. Lawrence Boulevard in Montreal before launching their online store the same year.
