Annie 50 is a brand of ready-to-wear women’s clothing inspired, as its name suggests, by feminine ideals of the 1950s. The Montreal-based company was co-founded in 2005 by Amélie Gingras-Rioux, a fashion design graduate of College Marie-Victorin, and Annie Gagnon, who earned a bachelor’s degree from the ESG-UQÀM École supérieure de mode. Annie 50 is best known for its flattering and playful form-fitting dresses. Produced entirely in Montreal, the brand’s clothing is sold online and at over 50 stores across Canada.
